What we know:
Lieutenant Horelica reports officers were called to Big K's Sports Bar & Lounge in the shopping center on Cullen Boulevard near Kilkenny Drive.
They found a man shot by the front door who was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
According to Lt. Horelica, the man's friends had dragged him further into the bar before leaving.
There was no disturbance reported before the shooting was called in, officials say.
Anyone with information is asked to contact HPD Homicide or Crime Stoppers Houston.
